When we discovered the world of Flores Studio we immediately knew there was much more than meets the eye. After a memorable debut in our London Gallery during last May’s Craft Week, we are thrilled to unveil their latest furniture pieces at Invisible Collection Paris. The curated setting, designed by Emma Pucci and Valentina Pilla—the creative minds behind Flores Studio—brings their vision to life. A few words about these two remarkable founders: Emma and Valentina are inspired nomads with a passion for craft and design. Enchanted by Portugal’s natural beauty and rich artisanal traditions, they launched Flores Studio to create pieces deeply connected to local culture. Using a vast repertoire of techniques and materials—terracotta, glazed ceramics, woven reed, hand-carved wood—they reinterpret Portuguese heritage with a French sensibility.
Beginning with textiles and later expanding to furniture and objects, the design duo crafts soulful, elegant pieces imbued with history. Each design tells a story—a story of encounters and craftsmanship. Emma and Valentina believe that in Portugal, craftsmanship is not merely a skill but a way of life, celebrated through daily objects and traditions. This philosophy is woven into their work, from textiles to furniture, infusing each piece with texture, history, and natural elegance. By tapping into Portugal’s beauty and artisanal heritage, they create designs that are deeply rooted in local culture yet resonate with aesthetes across the globe. In the soulful atmosphere curated by Flores Studio, a selection of designs, decorative objects, and handpicked artworks punctuates the space. This collection reflects their vision of a tasteful, warm ensemble that feels inviting and homely.
Highlights include vibrant iterations of Flores Studio’ signature ceramic stools. Featuring artfully mixed colors and unique shapes, these stools add a touch of sophisticated warmth to any contemporary décor. Design enthusiasts will appreciate one of the brand’s unmistakable hallmarks: the organic, sculptural bases of their lighting fixtures and tables. With asymmetrical curves reminiscent of flowing ball gowns, these bases taper elegantly upward, evoking the effect of draped fabric—a stunning addition to their aesthetic. Among the seating options, the Weekend Sofa is a perennial favorite. With its sleek rectangular shape, slender upright backrest, and shallow cushions, it’s the perfect companion for any modern living room. Available in a variety of fabrics—from plush Bruder to Perrine Rousseau’s thick cotton and handwoven Yeleen textiles—it combines comfort with contemporary style.
A true standout, the Carlos Armchair takes inspiration from 1940s Portuguese design, reinterpreted with a contemporary edge. Its sculptural yet sensual lines resonate with collectors, who will appreciate its simplicity and warmth. Another favorite is the Rossio Chair, crafted from hand-carved oak. The chair’s gentle curves and minimalist structure offer both comfort and style. The exhibition runs until the holidays.
