Invisible Collection x Cabana

Stories News Invisible Collection x Cabana

It’s Cabana fever at Invisible Collection! Discover the Italian brand’s new tableware collection, available on ClubRoom, ready to be delivered on time for the holidays.

To mark the holiday season, we have partnered with Cabana to present their latest tableware collections which will be available on ClubRoom, our concept boutique for all things design. The collections feature colourful, whimsical pieces that mirror Martina Mondadori’s passion for eclectic juxtapositions and exquisite artisanship. The festivities kick off at Invisible Collection New York, our gallery on the Upper East Side, with a two-day Cabana pop-up open to the happy gift hunters in search of lovely presents for Thanksgiving and the coming holidays. “After welcoming Invisible Collection in Milan at Casa Cabana, we are so honored to now be hosted at their beautiful gallery in New York City to present our Casa Cabana Holiday Collections,” says Martina Mondadori.

Fortunately, those who could not make it to Cabana pop-up at Invisible Collection New York, will find a curated selection of lovely Cabana designs on ClubRoom, including pieces from the new Benaki Collection. This is the first time that the Italian brand creates a collection directly inspired by and as a tribute to a public institution: the Benaki collection draws from the traditional Greek textiles, motifs and pottery found in the renowned Benaki Museum in Athens. The pieces pay homage to the rich world of Greek decorative arts, featuring a plethora of eclectic dinnerware, tablecloths, and napkins in vibrant colors and patterns.

Our curated selection from Cabana includes an array of gorgeous designs that conjure a warm, festive aesthetic. Exquisite tumblers handblown in Murano, delicately hand painted plates from Ginori, and colourful linens are set together for an inspirational tablescape that invites joyful reunions. “We’re delighted to welcome Cabana and their lovely collection of homewares in our New York City home,” says our co-founder Isabelle Dubern Mallevays. “I have had ‘Cabana fever’ for the longest time and have been a devoted fan of the magazine from the very beginning. I feel that there is a common pattern between our two brands, different in scope yet very close in terms of championing powerful aesthetics. I regard Martina as our stylish Italian godmother as she was one of our first guest stars when we launched Invisible Collection back in 2016.”

Casa Cabana

Martina Mondadori’s childhood home was designed by Renzo Mongiardino, growing up surrounded by warm colours and striking combinations of texture and pattern. Travelling widely with her family, she was exposed to the design traditions of many cultures: This love of travel and discovery have never left her. Respect for craftsmanship and authenticity in design has played an important role in her life, and it’s key to her work at Cabana.
