There is a lot going on in the world of design, and much is about a new wave of French designers who are redefining the new aesthetical codes of chic. At Invisible Collection, we’ve taken the lead of this movement, scouting and promoting most of these emerging French talents, introducing them to an international crowd of connoisseurs and collectors. In this spirit, we are thrilled to present the much awaited first residency of Pierre Augustin Rose in the UK, celebrating our exclusive collaboration. The exhibition takes place at our London Flagship in the heart of Marylebone, a unique opportunity to experience in person the brand’s iconic designs which have never been shown before on English soil.
Pierre Augustin Rose need no introduction. In less than five years, the brand has become an interior design powerhouse whose French je-ne-sais-quoi has had a massive impact on the way people envision curved lines in the living room. The brand’s signature softly curved sofas, sledge-like chairs, and lacquered coffee tables have become the epitome of a certain idea of French chic. Furthermore, the collection of furniture pieces is so alluring and versatile that it seamlessly blends in with every decor. The furniture pieces and lighting fixtures on show are dashing and sophisticated, encompassing the brand’s vast vocabulary of shapes and materials, including plaster, fine lacquer, and natural wood. The standalone quality of each design speaks for itself, and yet when harmoniously assembled in our space, the pieces come alive revealing a new, alluring personality.
The designs are displayed on the ground floor of our gallery, seamlessly incorporated into the existing decor of neutral palettes. Alongside the iconic 190 and 260 Sofas – named after their length in centimetres -, the darling Polus Chairs and the Duo Coffee Table in natural oak, we introduce La Méridienne, a new, gorgeous daybed that is an irresistible invitation to linger and lose track of time. For this exceptional residency at Invisible Collection London, which marks the first time Pierre Augustin Rose’s designs are shown in the UK in a curated display, it was important for us to present the rich variety of the brand’s vocabulary. In addition to some unmistakable signature pieces, visitors can enjoy new iterations of the series of lamps in plaster and the striking Minotaure Armchair. The collection, on view until December 2023, is available in the UK exclusively through us.
