Edmond & Fils began as a small metalworking workshop in the Haute-Loire region of France, founded on one man’s wish to build a company he could pass down to his children, hence the name “Edmond and sons.” That family ethos of craftsmanship built to last found an unlikely match in Louis Benech, France’s most celebrated landscape architect, whose gardens for the Tuileries and the Élysée have shaped how the country thinks about outdoor space.
Designed to gather people the way a garden gathers life, the Siam Dining Table translates Louis Benech’s landscape sensibility into recycled steel, its Gris Terre d’Ombre finish tracing bamboo stalks from root to crown across the tabletop’s frame. Also available in a smooth gloss finish, it turns every outdoor meal into an occasion to contemplate the garden emerging through the metal beneath the plates.
