At Garcé & Dimofski, design begins with material rather than form. Olivier Garcé and Clio Dimofski work almost exclusively with what the Mediterranean landscape and Portuguese artisans can offer: chestnut and walnut wood, hand-thrown ceramic, raw clay and terracotta, resulting in furniture with what the duo call a quiet strength that transcends trends — pieces built to feel inevitable rather than fashionable.
The Monte sofa in its 240/320 configuration is upholstered here in Dedar’s raw, textural Caolino in natural, though it has also been shown in Pierre Frey’s Craft fabric in a warm apricot, resting on chestnut feet in shade F02. It is also available in a larger size, so the same rounded silhouette can scale from a snug reading corner to a full-width family sofa.
