      The Designer
      MAY - Maylis et Charles Tassin
      Charles Tassin is an interior designer. Maylis Tassin is a visual artist. Their love story is the foundation on which they built their life together and their professional career. Inspired by the work of legendary ensembliers-décorateurs from the past, they create timeless decors and interior design schemes like no other. Their one-of-a-kind furniture pieces and lighting fixtures are now housed at Galerie May, a space and label launched in 2010. Each piece conjures the design duo’s personality, crafted with the assistance of skilled artisans who bring the couple’s vision to life – a harmonious blend of masculinity and femininity, rigor and spontaneity, structure and organic elements.
