This light fixture is made from a single piece of earthenware, molded and then hand-cut to create the diffusion collar. The cutting process gives each piece a unique character. For this limited edition, the edge of the lamp’s collar is highlighted with a silver enamel trim, requiring a third firing of the piece. This process is extremely delicate. The object is crafted from white Limoges earthenware, glazed in white, and hand-painted with silver trim by the Faïencerie de Charolles.
