Created for the exhibition Objets Polychromes at the Villa Savoye, the polychrome side table by Studio Meaningful is the result of a study on color as light. Designed in dialogue with Le Corbusier’s polychromy, the tables use softly tinted acrylic panels—pink, blue, and violet—whose translucency reveals layered interactions. Beyond their functional role, these objects invite viewers to perceive subtle variations that emerge when color arises as much from light as from material.
Founded on January 1, 2025, from the merger of the Mobilier national and the Cité de la céramique – Sèvres & Limoges, the Manufactures Nationales unite four centuries of heritage with contemporary creation to champion excellence in French craftsmanship.
