Sattio Studio builds from geometry outward — a discipline visible here in a body resolved into distinct planes, each facet meeting the next at a deliberate, sharp edge rather than a blended seam. The surface is worked in satin lacquer, a finish that asks for patience rather than gloss: colour is built in successive layers, each hand-polished before the next is laid, so every facet holds its own depth and catches light differently as the angle shifts. It sits on an onyx base, chosen for its own veining and weight, grounding the lacquer’s precision in something denser and older. Design is by Francesco Balzano & Co., whose language of geometric construction runs through the wider TT collection. On a console or within a pared-back composition, the vase reads as a study in volume and plane, holding its own alone or repeated across a run of colour.
