That same instinct for pairing architectural rigor with a single handmade detail carries through the studio’s objects beyond furniture, including its hand-blown glass lighting.
The Naos Stool follows the same logic in a smaller footprint, its solid walnut body topped with a one-off vintage fabric seat and finished with the same hand-formed ceramic button. Each button is pressed and fired individually, so no two stools carry quite the same mark, a small handmade signature on an otherwise architectural form.
Having spent years in the high-end interior design industry, Valerie Name Bolaño founded her eponymous studio with the idea of creating spaces and objects where past, present, and future converge.
