The Jacob ottoman by Léo Sentou pairs with the armchair of the same name, forming a duchesse brisée when used together. Inspired by a fauteuil à la reine crafted by Henri Jacob (received master in 1779), the Jacob collection reinterprets the quintessential square-backed silhouette of late 18th-century furniture in a fresh, contemporary manner. Fully upholstered, both pieces rest on sculptural feet that explore the dialogue between straight and curved lines.
Trained at the ENSAAMA Olivier de Serres School in Paris before moving to London to take a master’s degree at Central Saint Martins, Leo Sentou works on high end residential and hospitality projects honing his skills and sense for detail, whilst growing a strong passion for beautiful finishes. In 2021, Leo launched his first furniture line that encapsulates his love for noble materials and exceptional craftmanship.
