The Carlin Side Table by Leo Sentou shares its inspiration with Martin Carlin, the eighteenth-century master of lacquered furniture, distilling his signature kidney-shaped silhouette and lacquer technique into an intimate scale for the bedroom or living room.
Framed in solid beech wood with a lacquer finish in RAL 404040 and gouged oak feet, with bespoke finishes and colours available on request, the Carlin Side Table brings the same kidney-shaped silhouette and lacquered surfaces as its larger coffee table counterpart into a compact form. The contrast between glossy lacquer and raw gouged oak remains its most quietly inspiring detail.
Trained at the ENSAAMA Olivier de Serres School in Paris before moving to London to take a master’s degree at Central Saint Martins, Leo Sentou works on high end residential and hospitality projects honing his skills and sense for detail, whilst growing a strong passion for beautiful finishes. In 2021, Leo launched his first furniture line that encapsulates his love for noble materials and exceptional craftmanship.
