The Peristyle End Table by Leo Sentou continues the story of master cabinetmaker Jean-Pierre Dusautoy’s eighteenth-century oval gueridon, scaled here for life beside a sofa or bed, a quiet architectural exercise in structure and surface dressed in noble timbers.
Made from tulipwood lacquered wood with a solid oak top, or the reverse combination of oak structure and lacquered top, the Peristyle End Table is entirely handcrafted with bespoke dimensions and finishes on request. Scaled to sit beside a sofa or bed, it distils the console’s architectural dialogue between oak and lacquer into an intimate, everyday object.
Trained at the ENSAAMA Olivier de Serres School in Paris before moving to London to take a master’s degree at Central Saint Martins, Leo Sentou works on high end residential and hospitality projects honing his skills and sense for detail, whilst growing a strong passion for beautiful finishes. In 2021, Leo launched his first furniture line that encapsulates his love for noble materials and exceptional craftmanship.
