The Molitor Gueridon by Leo Sentou pays homage to Bernard Molitor, the celebrated Maitre Ebeniste of late eighteenth-century Paris, reimagining his quintessential circular gueridon for contemporary interiors with a column silhouette dressed in bronze.
Pictured here with a lacquer top, limed oak legs and gouged bronze feet, the Molitor Gueridon is entirely handcrafted in Europe by a team of skilled artisans and can also be ordered with an oak top, lacquer legs and gouged oak or lacquer feet with a bronze ring. What makes it remarkable is how the bronze detailing catches light along the fluted column, turning a simple side table into a quiet showpiece of French Empire craftsmanship.
Trained at the ENSAAMA Olivier de Serres School in Paris before moving to London to take a master’s degree at Central Saint Martins, Leo Sentou works on high end residential and hospitality projects honing his skills and sense for detail, whilst growing a strong passion for beautiful finishes. In 2021, Leo launched his first furniture line that encapsulates his love for noble materials and exceptional craftmanship.
