Founded in 2011 by the artist duo Jennifer Midoz and Malo du Bouëtiez, Mydriaz offers creations with a modern and refined aesthetic, the result of meticulous research, with furniture and lighting that form a collection of eclectic and timeless objects. The notion of perception emerges as the duo explores the reflective and sensory qualities of materials as well as their narrative potential. This universe of forms quickly captivated interior designers and prestigious luxury houses. Their studio, located under the Viaduc des Arts in Paris, serves as a true experimental laboratory where each piece is handcrafted, from conception to production.

Invisible Collection and Mobilier National partner to promote contemporary creation and present limited-edition designs. Mobilier National, a major institution for contemporary creation and the promotion of French decorative arts, has been dedicated since the seventeenth century to preserving, restoring, and managing unique state-owned collections of furniture, tapestries, and decorative objects. In recent years, Mobilier National has broadened its scope by launching an annual “Campagne d’Acquisition” to support creativity and integrate contemporary designs into the national collections. These works are then exhibited in prestigious institutional buildings.
Thanks to this unprecedented partnership, a curated selection of contemporary furniture from Mobilier National’s latest Campagne d’Acquisition is now available in a limited edition.

The Flare lamp is a diffracted ray of light. At the intersection of flashes, its form crystallises into an abstract, colourful, and luminous sculpture. Its oblique position gives an impression of imbalance, yet Flare holds its pose, like a frozen moment in time. Through its shape, this table lamp embodies the very light it emits. The Echo floor lamp features two raw brass sheets, rolled and placed face to face. One emits light while the other reflects it, creating a dialogue through complementary colours. The curved forms produce vertical linear reflections, forming an abstract design on the object and highlighting the raw beauty of brass. Coloured bands enhance this abstraction of shapes, dressing the lamp in an aurora borealis effect.
