Lia Siqueira is a Brazilian architect known for founding AZUL Arquitetura & Design, bringing an inventive, nomadic sense of structure to her furniture.
The Livre Desk showcases Lia Siqueira’s inventive sense of structure, its two sections of drawers and sliding trays creating countless possibilities for organizing an office space. Especially elegant in light imbuia wood, it is also available in Brazilian rosewood freijo or Spanish cedar for a warmer palette.
Truly passionate about drawing from a very young age, Lia put her talent on the backburner to study biological sciences in the early 1980s. One day, during a casual chat, a professor suggested Lia that she should pursue her passion and hone her talent. No sooner said than done, she joined the Architecture and Urbanism course at Santa Úrsula University in Rio de Janeiro.
