Background

A former student at the Beaux-Arts de Paris, Alice Lahana experienced a turning point in her practice during a long stay in Brazil, where she discovered woodworking. She later founded her studio in Pantin. Through her work, she creates a dialogue between wood, ceramics, and glass. Based in eastern Paris, Alice Lahana Studio handcrafts each object on site and in limited editions. With a transdisciplinary approach, she shapes each piece as though it were a sculpture, developing an eclectic collection that evolves through experimentation.

Alice Lahana’s signature style is rooted in soft, organic forms that evoke calm and comfort. Through curves and gentle undulations, her pieces express a quiet sensuality. The Noa and Nü coffee tables are among the most iconic pieces in the studio’s collection. They embody the dialogue between oak and grogged stoneware, balancing strength and delicacy. Conceived almost as sculptural objects, they naturally command the space while maintaining a sense of lightness.
