Background

Franck Genser began attending auction houses in Nancy at the age of six or seven, in a city rich with decorative arts. Immersed in this environment from a young age, he developed a deep interest in Decorative Arts, particularly Art Nouveau. His professional experiences around the world allowed him to absorb diverse cultures and design philosophies, fostering an intimate relationship with furniture. Believing that beautiful objects are both timeless and contemporary, creations that transcend time, he launched his eponymous design studio in 2016. Guided by a vision of timeless elegance blended with contemporary forms, the inaugural collection embodied this aesthetic, presenting pieces that integrated craftsmanship, innovation, and history. From the start, his work stood out for its ability to evoke intimacy and emotion, breaking away from the dominant market trends.

Signature Style

Rock chic meets luxe new age. Franck Genser Studio delivers high-end furniture and lighting fixtures with striking shapes that capture the imagination. The studio functions as a think tank, fab lab, artisan workshop, web agency, and software development center. Its aim is to transition from abstract concepts to concrete creations, giving birth to meaningful forms that shape the future and create living environments that express the essence of humanity. Each object, arrangement, and piece of furniture contributes to a unique existential universe. Committed to quality, authenticity, and superior craftsmanship, Genser creates designs that transcend eras, blending timeless elegance with modern functionality.
