Background
Proud of his French and Algerian double culture, Reda Amalou is a citizen of the world who is inspired by the cultures that surround and surprise him. Born in Paris, he studied in London, at East London University and has been working since on countless hospitality projects in Asia and in Costa Rica, driven by his strong concern about the environment.
Signature
Refined minimalism marked by curved shapes and noble materials in the likes of lacquer, bronze, leather… A passion for traveling, anchored in the very Parisian Left Bank surroundings where he founded his agency AW2 in 1997, under the shadow cast by the nearby Saint Sulpice church.

The unmistakable, colorful Dot side tables and the Lala cabinet. Reda Amalou and his agency are the recipients of many awards, including the prestigious Best Hotel Design Travel and Leisure, Best Hotel MIPIM Award, Green Good Design, the Chicago Museum of Architecture Award. Reda Amalou has also designed several collections for Baccarat, some Aman Resorts and Six Senses hotels.
