Founded in 2021 by Pauline Leyravaud and Charlotte Tarbouriech, Studio Polcha explores all facets of design, from furniture creation to interior design, as well as scenography, décor, and installations. Their approach to contemporary creation is free-spirited and experimental, driven by strong convictions and a distinctive aesthetic. Studio Polcha breaks away from the excessive consumption of new materials to minimize environmental impact. The duo has established a virtuous ecosystem where upcycling becomes an opportunity to move beyond the reliance on new materials, placing their creations firmly in a new era of sustainable design.

Invisible Collection and Mobilier National partner to promote contemporary creation and present limited-edition designs. Mobilier National, a major institution for contemporary creation and the promotion of French decorative arts, has been dedicated since the seventeenth century to preserving, restoring, and managing unique state-owned collections of furniture, tapestries, and decorative objects. In recent years, Mobilier National has broadened its scope by launching an annual “Campagne d’Acquisition” to support creativity and integrate contemporary designs into the national collections. These works are then exhibited in prestigious institutional buildings.
Thanks to this unprecedented partnership, a curated selection of contemporary furniture from Mobilier National’s latest Campagne d’Acquisition is now available in a limited edition.

With Sea Project and its terracotta tiles inspired by the theme of the sea, the duo creates a trompe-l’œil in a fresh, inventive, and unconventional visual language. Colour plays a key role for Polcha, as the aquatic décor distorts spaces with optical illusions reminiscent of water’s rippling waves. The tiles are produced at Alain Vagh, a company that crafts terracotta and lava stone using traditional artisanal techniques.
