The Pinson Dining Table is the work of Atelier Constant, the Paris studio founded by designer Xavier Dehaye around a deep appreciation for mid-century form and rigorous craftsmanship, favoring pared-back silhouettes that let material and proportion carry the design rather than applied ornament.
Carved from solid blocks of natural stone, shown here in a honed volcanic stone and also available in limestone or travertine, polished or honed, the Pinson reveals the veining, tonal shifts and subtle irregularities intrinsic to quarried material, so that no two tables read exactly alike. It is a piece that treats stone not as a surface to be perfected but as a living record of geology, brought into the home as both table and object of contemplation.
