Caryatid Table

Add to Wishlist

Sophie Dries, who has worked under Jean Nouvel, Pierre Yovanovitch and Christian Liaigre, named this table series after African sculptural traditions — Dogon, Baga, Kifwebe masks among them — translated into solid oak tops set on sand-steel bases finished in a Corten or hematite patina.

Named for the sculpted figures that support certain African stools and thrones, this table pairs a red-finished oak top with a sand-steel base in a Corten patina.
