The Tiga Sideboard designed by Emmanuelle Simon is not just a storage piece. It carries the collection’s cliff-like, hand-gouged texture onto a larger, more architectural volume, giving a functional case piece the same dynamic play of shadow and light found across the Tiga dining tables, and grounding a dining or living room in raw, tactile material presence. It stands as much as a sculpture as a place to store linens or servingware.
Crafted in brushed and gouged solid oak, the sideboard’s front is worked entirely by hand, its irregular grooves catching light unevenly across the width of the piece. The exquisite artisanal carving means the surface texture shifts subtly from panel to panel, so the sideboard reads less like a manufactured object and more like a piece shaped, slowly, by a single set of hands.
