Paulo Werneck, a self-taught Brazilian modernist who collaborated with Oscar Niemeyer on the São Francisco de Assis church in Pampulha, designed furniture defined by mosaic-patterned tabletops in native Brazilian woods, faithfully re-edited today by Etel with his estate.

Designed in 1940, the Gaspar side table is shown here in honey Imbuia wood, also available in light Imbuia, honey peroba or natural peroba mica.
