The Apollo Collection is a tribute to Cy Twombly. Francesco Balzano drew his inspiration from the painter’s Roman house, which he photographed several times. The collection comprises a dining table, two smaller tables, a coffee table and a column; their shapes inspired by the simplicity and purity of Twombly’s work. The materials – resin and Estremoz marble- are as soft as the lines of his paintings, and the colours echo his work as a photographer. The collection takes its name from one of his works.
