Francesco Balzano designs the way an architect thinks: in volumes, thresholds and light. Named among AD France’s 100 Best Designers and winner of the Villa Medici Prize from the French Academy in Rome, the Paris-based designer draws on a childhood spent between Venice, Rome and Florence to give his furniture, produced through SATTIO Studio, the weight and calm of monuments rather than mere objects.

The Cesar dining table channels Balzano’s fascination with the interiors of Milan’s Villa Necchi into a piece that pairs a Lens stone top with legs in smoked, high-gloss eucalyptus. Its form takes cues from Italian urban planning, the quiet geometry of a piazza distilled into a tabletop, so that gathering around it feels like sitting at the edge of a small, sophisticated square.

The images showcased are high-quality 3D renderings designed to closely represent the piece, though they may not capture every detail with complete precision.
Each piece is unique due to its handmade nature and the marble's distinctive veining. The veins and shades may vary slightly.
