The Peanut dining table stands out for its elegant Raku tabletop. Raku, a Japanese ceramic technique, involves repeated firing in fire baths, revealing delicate cracks. It is available in several finishes, including lacquer, enamelled lava stone, and gradient colours.
Each piece is unique due to its handcrafted nature, with slight variations in crackling and colour.
A multidisciplinary design collective rather than a traditional architecture firm, Uchronia takes its name from a reflection on fictional time and ephemerality. The studio creates modern “experiential spaces,” removing the barriers between technical expertise and creativity.
