The Lily doorstop embodies a perfect fusion of traditional craftsmanship and contemporary design. Carefully designed, it is made from marble stucco, an ancient technique dating back several centuries. Marble stucco is a noble material, the result of a subtle blend of plaster and natural pigments, which, once applied and modelled, dries slowly in the open air, giving rise to unique shades and a fascinating texture. This traditional process gives each piece its own individuality, while preserving the authenticity of the artisanal method. This technique has also been adapted for tables and small household objects such as trays.

A multidisciplinary design collective rather than a traditional architecture firm, Uchronia takes its name from a reflection on fictional time and ephemerality. The studio creates modern “experiential spaces,” removing the barriers between technical expertise and creativity. It transforms spaces by offering a complete artistic service, ranging from architecture and spatial planning to design and visual identity.
