Tempio Gueridon – Onyx

Francesco Balzano designs the way an architect thinks: in volumes, thresholds and light. Named among AD France’s 100 Best Designers and winner of the Villa Medici Prize from the French Academy in Rome, the Paris-based designer draws on a childhood spent between Venice, Rome and Florence to give his furniture, produced through SATTIO Studio, the weight and calm of monuments rather than mere objects.

The onyx edition of the Tempio gueridon takes the collection’s purist, single-pedestal form and renders it in a pale, translucent stone that seems to hold light rather than simply reflect it. Part of a series Balzano built from memories of Casa Malaparte and the marble quarries of Stazzema, it is limited to twelve pieces, also available in Grand Antique marble.

The images showcased are high-quality 3D renderings designed to closely represent the piece, though they may not capture every detail with complete precision.
Each piece is unique due to its handmade nature and the marble's distinctive veining. The veins and shades may vary slightly.
