At Garcé & Dimofski, design begins with material rather than form. Olivier Garcé and Clio Dimofski work almost exclusively with what the Mediterranean landscape and Portuguese artisans can offer: chestnut and walnut wood, hand-thrown ceramic, raw clay and terracotta, resulting in furniture with what the duo call a quiet strength that transcends trends — pieces built to feel inevitable rather than fashionable.
The Spindle side table, a unique piece with Minjae Kim, is turned in natural pine, shade F05, its slender silhouette leaving the wood’s own colour and grain to carry the design without any stain or lacquer over it. Being one of a kind, its proportions and the exact figure of its grain belong to this table alone.
