Fluid, multi layered and kaleidoscope coloured lagoon shaped hand cast table top. Reminiscent of the constructs of mid-century design masters and playfully formed from colour saturated, marble-like selenite, juxtaposed with eccentric, conical shaped legs from air dried English oak with natural splits and fissures, shot blasted, sealed and waxed. This series of tables create a sense of whimsy that cannot go unnoticed.
Rebecca Korner established her practice, Korner Interiors, in London in 2009, following a career in Paris in publishing at Condé Nast, and the success of Korner Skincare, her design centric cosmetics range which received the Wallpaper Design Award.
