Behind Körner Interiors is Rebecca Korner, a London-based designer who traded years at Condé Nast Paris for a studio built on modern eclecticism, treating contemporary form and antique sensibility as natural collaborators. Saturated colour and tactile, hand-worked materials carry the same room, giving her furniture the feel of pieces collected across decades rather than produced in a single season.
The Eclipse Low Table Double Small links two spherical, hand-cast selenite tops into a single interlocking silhouette, each sphere coloured by hand in the marble-like, saturated tones inspired by a solar eclipse’s shifting phases. Its quatrefoil legs, from kiln-dried European oak, shot-blasted, sealed and waxed, echo the geometry of the top from below. Compact enough for an intimate seating group, it brings the drama of the full Eclipse collection into a smaller footprint.
Rebecca Korner established her practice, Korner Interiors, in London in 2009, following a career in Paris in publishing at Condé Nast, and the success of Korner Skincare, her design centric cosmetics range which received the Wallpaper Design Award. Korner Interiors realizes design projects across the realms of private residences, commercial and hospitality.
