Cedar sanded to a honey-toned glow, marble-stucco finishes, unpeeled rattan and hand-plaited straw run through the whole collection, named after plants and landscapes — Cyprès, Ortie — that root the studio’s rustic-refined language in nature itself. Exclusive to The Invisible Collection, Laclaux treats imperfection as proof of the hand behind the object.
The Calarossa Strisce Headboard designed by Laclaux brings the studio’s woven, ecological language into the bedroom, its natural rattan surface catching low evening light in a way that lacquered or upholstered headboards rarely do. Chloé Nègre and François-Xavier Fonbonnat designed it as the calm backdrop to a bed, textured enough to hold visual interest without demanding attention.

The bed can be fitted with a bespoke mattress by Lit National, a premier French bedding specialist, and bespoke fabrics and dimensions remain available on request for every commission.
Laclaux embodies the vision, skills, and sensitivity of Chloé Nègre and François-Xavier Fonbonnat. Both alumni of the École Camondo, they built their careers on separate paths: François-Xavier working at some of France’s leading design agencies, while Chloé founded her eponymous studio.
