The Horns Box designed by Sarah Chirazi carries the imprint of a designer raised between Dakar, Paris, and her Iranian and Lebanese roots, who treats every object as a fragment of a larger scenography where ancestral memory and French classicism speak the same language.
Carved by hand from black-stained dimb wood, the Horns box is engraved along its surface with the wood’s own veins before two small black bronze horns are set on top to serve as handles. The dual horns turn a simple lidded box into a guardian object, part container and part totem, its dark, matte surface designed to absorb light rather than reflect it.
An advocate of eclecticism, Sarah moves effortlessly from a Haussmannian apartment to a clay mountain retreat in Morocco, adding her whimsical touch while ensuring respect for the spirit of the place. In her interiors, conceived as multi-act scenographies, she weaves unexpected dialogues between the 1940s and Senegalese craftsmanship, the extravagance of her personality, and the timelessness of French classicism.
