Janus Sconce

Add to Wishlist

Stephen Antonson treats plaster less as a building material than as something to be brushed, layered and carved until it catches light like carved stone, hand-finishing every piece himself — an approach Architectural Digest has likened to the lineage of Jean-Michel Frank and Alberto Giacometti.

Named for the two-faced Roman god of thresholds, the Janus sconce is hand-sculpted in plaster on a metal armature, available in solid bronze or a bespoke colour.
