The Naos Stool is sculpted from the noble solidity of Greek wood as a homage to timeless craftsmanship, drawing inspiration from the venerable legacy of Greco-Roman architecture. In each curve and contour lies the story of our creative director’s journey through ancient landmarks. Our button technique involves hand-stamping clay onto these surfaces to create a tactile experience that mirrors the textures, reliefs and essence found in classical ruins and architectural magnificence, preserving the essence of past epochs. Each intricately crafted button is meticulously sewn into the fabric, thereby bestowing upon each a living imprint of history, a seal of time that breathes anew in a room.
Having spent years in the high-end interior design industry, Valerie Name Bolaño founded her eponymous studio with the idea of creating spaces and objects where past, present, and future converge. In all her projects, she focuses on the constant pursuit of beautiful materials and the transmission of exceptional savoir-faire, enabling the creation of functional and elegant objects that stand the test of time.
