Before founding Kaia in 2013, Manuela Szewald worked as a tax lawyer for a financial institution in Frankfurt and London. It’s in 2010, whilst refurbishing her family’s holiday home – a hamlet of 300-year-old farmhouses- that she rediscovered her deep passion for interior design and the preservation of traditional craftsmanship.
