Rosi Mistou is a french contemporary artist who trained in colour, materials and textiles at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs in Paris. Her artistic world is nourished by light. Colour is central to her daily life, and is her own source of inspiration, giving her a real “colour sensation”. Rosi Mistou’s art is a blend of spontaneity and meticulous precision.

Rosi Mistou loves the tactile, textured qualities of materials. After working with fabrics, she turned to ceramics. Like a painter using brushes to invent worlds on canvas, she kneads, molds, and colors the clay to create three-dimensional compositions: a new form of art for the wall. Having begun with small-scale pieces, she now favors larger formats that feel visually powerful and imposing, like murals. Each shade expresses a feeling inspired by the landscape surrounding her atelier, located in a postcard-perfect region of France.
