“Outdoor furniture must be present without being omnipresent, which is why I always choose the discretion of simple and elegant lines”, says Louis Benech introducing the Siam collection. Inspired by the shape of bamboo stems, Benech designed a set of chairs, armchairs and tables that will bring a subtle aesthetic appeal to the garden.

“I design furniture with the eye and the garden expertise of the landscape architect that lives in me”, says Benech. “The outdoor furniture merges and mingles with the garden, bringing a new dimension to each place; a dimension of contemplation and pleasure of gathering together, of taking time to read and to reflect. Placed in the garden’s strategic points, the furnishings enable us to “see” and appreciate it in another way.”

Arguably one of the best landscape architects of his generation, Louis Benech was immediately taken with the idea of this collaboration: “The passion and talent that Edmond&fils bring to their metalwork immediately prompted my admiration and led me to start this collaboration with them.”
