The Invisible Collection could not miss the exciting, must-attend auctions taking place at Sotheby’s New York until 19 may. Indeed, we will be in the thick of the action by staging a shoppable exhibition of our iconic designs. Besides enjoying the much awaited modern and contemporary art sales, Sotheby’s guests will have the opportunity of oohing and aahing upon entering the Preferred Lounge studded with gorgeous conversation pieces.
The design duo Garcé & Dimofski helmed the scenography, creating the perfect, chic atmosphere elevated by their much sought-after Taylor Sofa. The space is outfitted with a curated selection of furniture pieces from some of the most talented contemporary designers on The Invisible Collection’s roster. Works by Pierre Augustin Rose, Charles Zana, Louise Liljencrantz, Francesco Balzano, Studioparisien, and Juliana Lima Vasconcellos, to name but a few, are set in dialogue with notable artworks.
Highlights from the exhibition include four authorized re-issues of Jean Royère’s iconic designs created in the late 1940s: the Polar Armchair, the Persan Floor Lamp, the Forme Libre Coffee Table. Working closely with the revered designer’s estate, Maison Royère, The Invisible Collection has the exclusive opportunity to present these exquisite pieces
