“Sevigné” is a homage to Madame de Sévigné, Marquise and first French novelist. Designed by Studioparisien, the daybed invites us to daydream and to read.
Laurène Barbier Tardrew, an interior architect and designer trained at Penninghen, and Romain Jourdan, a scenographer and designer, met while working on their first project for a French luxury house — a collaboration they describe as “a true revelation.” Their partnership quickly proved fluid and effervescent, nourished by their complementary sensibilities. Together they develop expressive, elegant and contemporary spaces that highlight the excellence of French craftsmanship and reflect a singular language where refined aesthetics meet a form of precious brutalism.
