The Muse wall light by Studioparisien is inspired by the traditional terracotta roof tiles of Mediterranean islands. Drawn from the Egee collection, their slender silhouettes punctuate and define a space.
Coated in plaster by Studio Tollis and finished with delicate black cerused streaks, these two curved shells are held together by cast-iron knots sculpted by Les Ateliers François Pouenat.
Laurène Barbier Tardrew, an interior architect and designer trained at Penninghen, and Romain Jourdan, a scenographer and designer, met while working on their first project for a French luxury house — a collaboration they describe as “a true revelation.” Their partnership quickly proved fluid and effervescent, nourished by their complementary sensibilities. Together they develop expressive, elegant and contemporary spaces that highlight the excellence of French craftsmanship and reflect a singular language where refined aesthetics meet a form of precious brutalism.
