Design by Studioparisien, À la française Miel rug is a carpet like a French garden, a landscape and an expression of classicism shaken up by a graphic play of tassels in topiary. One can imagine its variation with the seasons.
Laurène Barbier Tardrew, an interior architect and designer trained at Penninghen, and Romain Jourdan, a scenographer and designer, met while working on their first project for a French luxury house — a collaboration they describe as “a true revelation.” Their partnership quickly proved fluid and effervescent, nourished by their complementary sensibilities. Together they develop expressive, elegant and contemporary spaces that highlight the excellence of French craftsmanship and reflect a singular language where refined aesthetics meet a form of precious brutalism.
