Designed by Studioparisien for Philippe Hurel, the Yumi daybed derives its name from the traditional Japanese bow, characterized by its asymmetrical shape that serves as inspiration for its gracefully curved design. The manufacturing process embraces this bow concept through a combination of a curved solid wood structure and veneered panels. This construction allows upholsterers to seamlessly apply the foam and sculpt the distinctive form of the Yumi. The resulting unique, sinuous structure, crafted in one continuous piece, provides an inviting and enveloping comfort.
