Bismut & Bismut is the Paris-based design dynasty of architect-designer brothers Daniel and Michel Bismut, celebrated for a reductive, light-focused aesthetic built on stucco, glass and wood.
The 3U Bench, designed by Bismut & Bismut, is not just a bench. Daniel and Michel Bismut, the Paris design brothers known for their reductive, light-focused aesthetic, shaped its ethereal lines in mirror-polished stainless steel, one face tinted a warm honey tone, the other left natural, so the piece catches and bends the light of any room it enters.
Dressed with three linen cushions, or shaved Icelandic lamb for a more tactile touch, the 3U Bench moves fluidly between roles: a decorative sculpture, an occasional seat, a surface for laying objects down. Bespoke dimensions are available on request, but its timeless geometry means the bench finds its place in almost any interior, from a minimalist hallway to a sculptural living room.
