Dagmar was founded in London with a singular devotion: to bring the golden age of Scandinavian design back into the light. Working closely with heritage workshops across Denmark and Sweden, the house rediscovers pieces by the great mid-century Nordic makers, many left unproduced for decades, and reissues them using the same traditional joinery, hand-finishing and upholstery techniques the originals demanded.
The Entre Stool by Kai Kristiansen distills the Danish designer’s 1956 Entre Series into its most compact form, marrying modern manufacturing with classical Danish proportions. Hand-joined using traditional cabinetmaking techniques, it stands on Kristiansen’s signature chamfered legs and comes upholstered in cognac Genova leather or sandy Teddy Mohair from Pierre Frey over a solid walnut frame, an easy companion piece that pulls up to a desk, dressing table or bed.
