Fleur Delesalle’s furniture reads like a garden catalogue: Peony, Marigold, Daylily, Hollyhock, Poppy, Crocus, each name attached to a piece built around soft, rounded volumes and a cheerful, minimalist sensibility. The designer, who spent six years with India Mahdavi before opening her own studio, has since been recognised with the AD x Land Rover Design Award for a body of work that manages to be both calm and quietly playful.

A unique piece, the Poppy Coffee Table Onyx balances a striking onyx tabletop on a lacquered wood base, the veined stone resting on two cylinders in a pairing Fleur Delesalle designed to feel almost precarious despite being perfectly stable. The same silhouette is also available in Carrara marble and lacquered wood for those seeking a lighter tone.
