Fleur Delesalle spent six formative years inside India Mahdavi’s studio, absorbing a taste for bold colour and unapologetic form, before launching her own studio with a language that is minimalist without ever being cold, defined by gentle curves and a cheerful palette. True to her name, which means flower in French, nearly every piece she designs is named after one – Peony, Marigold, Daylily, Hollyhock, Poppy – as if her furniture were a garden rendered in wood, marble and lacquer.

Topped in Calacatta gold marble on a lacquered wood base, the Poppy Coffee Table Calacatta lets the golden veining of the stone play against the two cylindrical supports Fleur Delesalle uses across the Poppy family. It is also available with a tabletop in onyx or in lacquered wood, for a softer or more graphic alternative to the marble.
