Francesco Balzano brings a builder’s discipline to every object he designs. Raised between Venice, Rome and Florence, he channels the drama of Italian classical architecture through a distinctly French sense of restraint, a duality that has earned him a place among AD France’s 100 Best Designers and that now defines the sculptural, limited-edition furniture produced under his own label, SATTIO Studio.
The Murano gueridon in leather takes the collection’s tribute to Venetian glassmaking and re-reads it in natural khaki hide, its earthy tone standing in for the resin range’s marine hues while keeping the same rounded, pedestal silhouette. Also available in natural orange leather, this signed and numbered piece is one of only twelve made.
