Olivier Garcé and Clio Dimofski opened Garcé & Dimofski’s studio and gallery in a 19th-century Pombaline building in Lisbon. They bring a rigorous, architectural eye to furniture that never strays far from the earth it comes from — chestnut, walnut, pine and clay, shaped by hand with Portuguese craftsmen who have spent lifetimes mastering their materials.
The Duo coffee tables are carved from solid Verde Alpi marble into an irregular, three-dimensional square, a shape that looks different from every side rather than reading as a flat slab. Sold as a pair or individually, the two tables can be pushed together into a single sculptural block or spread apart to anchor two different corners of a room.
